Nestled
in the pines of Central Wisconsin, we have our Bittersweet
Cottage. It is here that we make very rustic and
vintage looking treasures. On this page, you will
find all of the information about us and the site.
Who is behind
Willow Creek Primitives?
Hi, I'm Nan. Not only am I an avid
nature lover, but I enjoy spending as much time
as possible making primitive crafts from scratch,
trying to bring back memories from years ago. I
began making wreaths approximately eight years ago
to sell locally. I then expanded to sell to a few
shops around the state.
Several years ago my husband and I
began selling our items at the local Farmer's Market.
People were very pleased with the primitive crafts
we offered. Around the same time that we began attending
the Farmer's Market, I began listing my items on
the auction site, eBay.
I have had a wonderful experience in the years I've
been selling online, and thought that I needed a
place on the web to call my own and offer my primitive
creations.
Beginning with my wreaths and signs,
I have recently expanded and now create primitive
dolls, fixens, furniture, and hand-painted folk
art. Hopefully you will find something on this website
that you feel would be a positive addition to your
primitive collection!
Information On
Orders
Currently, we accept PayPal
(a secure, online company that
accepts all major credit cards), Checks, or Money
Orders. If sending a check, you may need to wait
up to one week for it to clear before we ship out
your order. By paying via PayPal (our preferred
method), your payment will be received instantly
and thus we can get your item(s) out much faster.
All of our wreaths are made upon order, thus after
we receive payment it may take up to seven days
to complete the order depending on current work
load and the size of the order.
Because of the varying weight of our
products, we cannot offer an instant payment option
through this website. Instead, simply add as many
items to the electronic cart as you plan on ordering,
then proceed to the check-out screen. After entering
your shipping details and information, the order
will be sent to us where we will then look at the
order and determine the appropriate shipping cost.
After the total shipping has been calculated (within
24 hours), we will e-mail you a complete invoice
which will include the total cost including shipping,
an electronic payment link, and the address to send
checks or money orders.
Shipping Methods
and Information
All of our packages are shipped via
USPS Priority
or Parcel mail unless otherwise stated. We personally
recommend that you pay for the Priority Mail option
as then the package will then get to you within
three days. This is especially good timing when
there are sensitive items boxed up such as wreaths
or swags. Parcel mail on the other hand usually
takes between five and ten days to be delivered.
If you order wreaths or swags and
it is later than Wednesday, we may post-pone the
shipment until the following week to ensure the
items are kept in boxes for a minimal amount of
time. After the package is shipped, we will e-mail
you with the appropriate tracking or confirmation
number. Unfortunately, due to the size and weight
of the packages, we only accept orders from within
the United States.
